Spicy Shrimp Dip
The spicy
shrimp dip is so creamy and cheesy. It is full of diced shrimp and flavored
with both a Cajun seasoning and red pepper flakes for lots of spices.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 1 lemon zested
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
- 1 red bell pepper minced
- 1 sourdough bowl
- 12 ounces SeaPak Shrimp Scampi
- 1/4 cup chives or minced green onions
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
First, preheat
the oven to 375 degrees.
Then, thaw the
shrimp, drain well and chop the shrimp into 1/2 inch cubes.
In a
large bowl, add the chives, bell pepper, mayonnaise, cream cheese, parmesan,
shrimp, lemon juice and zest, Cajun seasoning and
Worcestershire sauce and stir
until 'they are combined.
Cut the top
of the sourdough bread.
Spread the
inside until the bread walls are 1/2 inch thick.
Put the dip
in the bread bowl.
Bake for
18-20 minutes or until the mixture boils and the bread is golden brown.
Serve with
crackers or baguette slices.
