Korean Glazed Chicken Drumsticks
Korean
glazed chicken drumsticks are slightly spicy, sticky, sweet and full of garlic
and ginger and crisp even with the skin! One dish to clean and dinner is done
in 40 minutes!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
First, preheat
an oven to 375 degrees.
Then, in a
small saucepan over medium-high heat, whisk together the sesame oil and
cornstarch.
Stir in soy
sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds and red pepper
flakes.
Bring to a
boil and cook until the sauce is thick.
Spray a
4-sided baking sheet or 9 × 13 pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Place the
drumsticks on the pan and brush with barbecue sauce.
Bake at 375
degrees for about 45 minutes.
Garnish with
sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
