Jamaican Jerk Meatballs
These super
tasty Jamaican keto meatballs have all the spicy and sweet flavors, but in an
easier-to-eat format and faster to cook keto meatballs!
Ingredients
- olive oil
- 1 pound of fresh beef
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 red chili is finely diced
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander
- 1 lb [85/15] ground beef
- 1 tablespoon of lime juice
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup of Panko bread crumbs
- 1 small onion finely diced
- 3 tsp Jamaican Jerk seasoning [i.e.McCormick's]
- black pepper to taste
- 1 cup Spicy Caribbean Spices & Jerk Sauce
Instructions
First, preheat
the oven to 375 ° F and coat the pan with aluminum foil sprayed with cooking
spray.
Then, in a
skillet, diced chocolate onions and red peppers in a few tablespoons of olive
oil until clear. Add the chopped garlic and continue stir-fry for 2 minutes.
Set aside to be rather cold.
In a medium
stirring bowl, combine stir-fried vegetables, beef, ground beef, breadcrumbs,
beaten eggs, milk, pineapple juice, coriander leaves, lime juice,
Worcestershire sauce, jerk spices, salt and black pepper. Using your hands, mix
until they are combined.
Shape a bite-sized
ball and place it on a baking sheet.
Bake at 375
° F for 20 minutes. Raise the temperature to 425 ° F and cook for 10 minutes or
until golden.
Serve with
