Balsamic Chicken Drumsticks
The sweet
and sticky baked chicken drumsticks are the perfect appetizer recipe for crisp
and juicy black meat chicken drumsticks. Asian frosting is so addictive!
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp. raw honey
- ⅓ cup coconut aminos
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp. fresh grated ginger
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- 8 chicken drumsticks, skinless
- Green onion, finely sliced
Instructions
First, combine
balsamic vinegar, coconut aminos, water, ginger, garlic, honey and red pepper
flakes.
Then, place
the pestle in a Dutch pan or oven.
Pour the balsamic
sauce over the drumsticks. Place the pan on the stove and bring to a boil.
Reduce the
heat to a boil and cook for 25 to 30 minutes, turning occasionally.
Once the
chicken is cooked, make sure the drumsticks are well coated with the sauce and
let stand 2 to 3 minutes.
Serve the
drumsticks garnished with green onions.
