Three Cheese Pesto Spinach Flatbread Pizza
This spinach
flatbread and three cheese pesto pizza recipe is a perfect night meal! You can
change the toppings if you prefer!
Ingredients
- 1 garlic naan flatbread
- 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 TBSP butter
- 1/8-1/4 tsp salt or to taste
- 2 tbsp feta cheese crumbled
- 1 clove garlic smashed and minced
- 2 oz mozzarella cheese grated
- 1-2 tsp pesto
- 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes for topping
- 5 oz fresh spinach
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (room temperature)
Instructions
First, preheat
the oven to 350 degrees F.
Then, chop
the spinach and mince the garlic.
Heat a deep
skillet over medium-high heat with 1 TBSP butter.
Add the
garlic and spinach and sauté until they are wilted.
Add the
heavy cream, parmesan and salt and reduce the heat to simmer, stirring
frequently to thicken for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool
slightly.
Spread the
spinach mixture on your flat bread and garnish with mozzarella and feta cheese.
Drizzle with
pesto and bake on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil at 350 for 12 min.
Change the
broiler setting for an additional minute or two, until golden and bubbling.
Garnish with
red pepper flakes.
