SIMPLE SALISBURY STEAK
Comfort food
simple and easy to prepare. The patties can be made and frozen, making it an
easy way to double or triple the recipe and store your freezer for quick meals.
Ingredients
Patties:
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 2 tsp Ketchup
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/3 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
- 1 tsp Worcestershire
Gravy:
- 2 cup hot Water
- 1 tsp Ketchup
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire
- 2 packets Brown Gravy Mix
Instructions
First, combine
all the ingredients for the plate in a large bowl and massage with your hands
until the ingredients are incorporated.
Then, heat 1
tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Cook the
patties on both sides until they are no longer pink.
Temperature
lower than low.
Whisk
together the sauce mixture and water until well blended.
Whisk the
ketchup and Worcestershire and pour over the patties in a pan.
Simmer until
the sauce heats up and thickens.
