Samoa Stuffed Brownies
This recipe
for stuffed brownies in Samoa has it all! Fondant brownie, two layers of Samoa
Girl Scout cookies, dulce de leche, coconut and chocolate ganache.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Box Samoa cookies
- 1/2 C Chocolate chips
- 1/2 C Shredded coconut
- 1 Box Brownie mix
- Ingredients listed on the box
For The
Frosting
- 1 tbsp Heavy cream
- 1 1/2 C Powdered sugar
- Chocolate sprinkles for garnish
- 1/2 C (1 stick) Unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 2 tbsp Caramel sauce (Hershey’s or Smuckers)
INSTRUCTIONS
First, preheat
the oven to 350 ° F.
Then, prepare
the brownie mixture using the ingredients indicated on the box (egg, oil,
water, etc.). Add the grated coconut and chocolate chips and mix well into the
dough.
Line a 9
"x13" baking dish with parchment paper or a baking mat. Place the
Samoa cookies directly on the support, wrap as many as possible. Pour the
brownie mixture over the cookies and spread evenly.
Bake for 23
to 25 minutes at 350 ° F. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
Since using a baking mat, I was able to completely remove the brownie sheet
from the pan before frosting.
For the
frosting
First, let
the butter return to room temperature or heat for 10 seconds in the microwave.
Beat butter on medium speed until light and fluffy.
Then, add
the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, and the mixture will become lumpy.
Add the
heavy cream and increase the mixing speed to medium-high, beat for two minutes to
incorporate a little air into the frosting. Add the caramel sauce last and mix
to incorporate.
Frost-cooled
brownies and garnish with sprinkles.
Happy
Cooking Time.
