Oreo Loaded Cheesecake Brownies

Oreo Loaded Cheesecake Brownies

If you're looking for an exaggerated decadent brownie recipe, look no further. Ultra-melting and rich brownies are topped with a layer of cream cheese enriched with white chocolate chips, before sprinkling Oreos and semi-sweet chocolate chips on top!

Ingredients

For Brownie Layer:
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 20 Double Stuf Oreos
  • ½ cup + 2 Tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 7 oz. quality semi-sweet chocolate-chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

For Cheesecake Layer:
  • 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg- slightly beaten
  • 5–6 Oreo cookies-coarsely chopped
  • 12 oz. cream cheese-softened
  • ¼ cup + 2 Tablespoons sugar

Instructions

First, preheat the oven to 350 ° F, line the bottom and sides of a 9 x 9 inch baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper (leaving a overhang on all sides for easy removal pan brownies), set aside.

Then, in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the chopped chocolate and butter, stirring constantly, until smooth. Leave to cool for 10 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder and salt, set aside.

Add ¾ cup granulated sugar to the melted chocolate and whisk until well combined.

Add eggs (one at a time), whisking well after each addition. Whisk the vanilla.

Gently fold the mixture of dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture and pour into the prepared pan, smooth the top.

Place the Oreo cookies on the brownie layer. You will need 16 whole Oreos and 4 cut in half to cover the brownie dough. Since the dough is too thick, you can gently press the cookies to press them halfway into the dough.

To make the cheesecake layer in a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Stir in ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons sugar and vanilla extract. Add the beaten egg and stir until well blended.

Pour the cheesecake mixture over the Oreo layer and gently smooth the top.
Do not spread the cheesecake mixture around the edges, leave the edge 1 / 3-1 / 2 inch because the cold cheesecake burns easily.

Sprinkle with chopped Oreo and bake 35-40 minutes (until brownies start to come off the edges of the pan). Let cool on a wire rack for 1 hour, then cover and refrigerate at least 2-3 hours.

Happy Cooking Time.
