Best Roasted Broccoli Recipe
Roasted
broccoli is really irresistible and so easy to prepare! It will become your new
favorite side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt +more to taste
- 1 lemon -halved
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs (gluten-free)
- 1 lb broccoli florets (or a mix of cauliflower & broccoli)
- 1 pinch red chili flakes -to taste
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil (or water for WFPB)
- 1/4 cup vegan walnut parmesan for serving -OPTIONAL
Instructions
First, preheat
oven to 425 ”F.
Then, in a
large baking sheet, combine the broccoli florets with olive oil, sea salt,
pepper flakes, garlic and onion powders. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs then spread
in a single layer preferably without touching.
Roast in a
preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until the florets are tender (but not
pasty) when pierced with a knife. Mix once halfway through cooking.
Serve
quickly with a good pressure of lemon juice and a pinch of walnut parmesan on
