Olive Cheese Bread
It looks
like we're all on dessert here this week. Sorry to break the trend, but I was
never very trendy to start with. Instead, you get bread with olive cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Sriracha
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 8 ounces shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 stalks green onions ,diced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter ,softened
- 2.25 ounces (1 can) sliced black olives ,drained
- 1 loaf French bread (14-inches long)
- 6 ounces (1 jar) sliced pimiento-stuffed green olives ,drained
instructions
First, preheat
the oven to 350 degrees F.
Then, cut
the loaf of bread in half lengthwise. Take part of the surface, creating a
shallow well. Place on a baking sheet.
In a large
bowl, combine the mayonnaise, butter and Sriracha until smooth and smooth. Add
the two olives, cheese and green onions; mix to combine.
Divide and
distribute the filling evenly between the two bread halves.
Bake 25 to
30 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden.
Cut into
2-inch diameter portions and serve as an appetizer.
Happy
Cooking Time.
