INGREDIENTS
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  •  1 lb mild Italian Sausage
  •  4 slices thick-cut bacon
  • salt and pepper, optional
  • crushed red pepper flakes, optional
  •  32 oz Beef bone broth (or beef broth)
  •  3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  •  1 head fresh cauliflower, diced
  •  2 cups fresh spinach (5 oz package), or kale
  •  shredded parmesan cheese for garnish, optional

INSTRUCTIONS

First, using a large pot (such as this Dutch oven), brown your sausage and bacon. Cut your bacon into bite-sized pieces for easy cooking.

Then, once your meat is cooked, add the beef bone broth, onions, garlic and cauliflower. Cover and cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes, until cauliflower is tender.

Once the cauliflower has softened, add thick cream and spinach (or kale). 
Bake for about 5 minutes, until spinach (or kale) is tender.

Serve with a pinch of parmesan and a pinch of salt, pepper and / or crushed red pepper flakes. Happy Cooking Time.
