Instant Pot Chicken Wings
The best
instant potted chicken wings made with fresh or frozen wings. Topped with a
delicious sticky garlic honey sauce and grilled to perfection.
INGREDIENTS
For the
Chicken Wings
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tablespoon seasoned salt
- 3 pounds chicken drumettes or wings
For the
Buffalo Sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 1 cup hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
INSTRUCTIONS
First, mix
the chicken wings with seasoned salt.
Then, pour 1
cup of water into the inner pan of the pressure cooker. Place the grill or
steam basket in the instant pan.
Place the
seasoned wings on a wire rack or in a steam basket.
Seal the
cover of the pressure cooker, being sure that the ventilation button is closed
sealed.
For fresh
wings: cook at high pressure for 10 minutes.
For frozen
wings: cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.
Once the
cooking time has elapsed, make a quick release with a spoon or cloth to protect
yourself from burns.
Remove the
chicken wings from the instant saucepan and place in a large bowl.
Mix the hot
sauce, honey, butter and garlic powder.
Pour half of
the buffalo sauce over the chicken wings and mix gently.
Place the
chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and covered with a
cooking rack.
Grill
chicken wings over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side to bring out chicken
skin.
Brush the
chicken wings with the rest of the buffalo sauce and serve.
