Instant Pot Chicken Wings

The best instant potted chicken wings made with fresh or frozen wings. Topped with a delicious sticky garlic honey sauce and grilled to perfection.

INGREDIENTS

For the Chicken Wings
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • 3 pounds chicken drumettes or wings

For the Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 cup hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey

INSTRUCTIONS

First, mix the chicken wings with seasoned salt.

Then, pour 1 cup of water into the inner pan of the pressure cooker. Place the grill or steam basket in the instant pan.

Place the seasoned wings on a wire rack or in a steam basket.

Seal the cover of the pressure cooker, being sure that the ventilation button is closed sealed.

For fresh wings: cook at high pressure for 10 minutes.

For frozen wings: cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.

Once the cooking time has elapsed, make a quick release with a spoon or cloth to protect yourself from burns.

Remove the chicken wings from the instant saucepan and place in a large bowl.

Mix the hot sauce, honey, butter and garlic powder.

Pour half of the buffalo sauce over the chicken wings and mix gently.

Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and covered with a cooking rack.

Grill chicken wings over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side to bring out chicken skin.

Brush the chicken wings with the rest of the buffalo sauce and serve.

Happy Cooking Time.
