BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIBS

BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIBS

Beef ribs are the best cut of beef for slow cooking! The most tender and succulent lump of beef you'll ever have.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 white onion diced
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 6 (about 4 pounds) bone-in short ribs
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Then, season all sides of the short ribs with salt and pepper.

Heat a heavy baking pan over high heat. Add the olive oil and let it heat briefly. Sear the short ribs in olive oil, about 1 minute per side. Remove from the pot and set aside.

Add the onion and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 more minute.

Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil. Add some meat. Place a sprig of rosemary on top.

Cover and transfer to a preheated oven for about 2.5 hours, until the meat is tender. Happy Cooking Time.
