BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIBS
Beef ribs
are the best cut of beef for slow cooking! The most tender and succulent lump
of beef you'll ever have.
Ingredients
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 white onion diced
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 6 (about 4 pounds) bone-in short ribs
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
First, preheat
the oven to 350 degrees.
Then, season
all sides of the short ribs with salt and pepper.
Heat a heavy
baking pan over high heat. Add the olive oil and let it heat briefly. Sear the
short ribs in olive oil, about 1 minute per side. Remove from the pot and set
aside.
Add the
onion and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 more minute.
Pour the
beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil. Add some meat. Place a
sprig of rosemary on top.
Cover and
transfer to a preheated oven for about 2.5 hours, until the meat is tender.
Happy Cooking Time.
