Italian Chicken Meatballs
These
Italian-style chicken balls are the best and meet the 30 standards. They are
covered with a delicious roasted garlic marinara sauce and prepared in a single
pan.
Ingredients
Meatballs:
- 1 egg
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh minced basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp fresh minced parsley
- 1/2 yellow onion finely diced
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs **Can use Gluten Free bread crumbs
- salt
Toppings:
- fresh grated Parmesan cheese
- 1-2 tbsp fresh minced basil
- 2 cups Marinara sauce
Instructions
First, Preheat
the oven to 400 ° and grease a 9 × 13 baking dish (you can also use 9 × 9 deep
cooking).
Then, Combine
all the ingredients for the meatballs in a large bowl and mix until everything
is well incorporated.
Use a
biscuit spoon to obtain the same amount of chicken mixture so that all the
balls are the same size. Form meatballs and place them in the baking dish leaving
a little space between them.
Bake for 20
minutes.
Add the
sauce evenly on the meatballs. Bake for another 5-7 minutes.
Sprinkle
