Italian Chicken Meatballs






These Italian-style chicken balls are the best and meet the 30 standards. They are covered with a delicious roasted garlic marinara sauce and prepared in a single pan.

Ingredients

Meatballs:
  • 1 egg
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh minced basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp fresh minced parsley
  • 1/2 yellow onion finely diced
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs **Can use Gluten Free bread crumbs
  • salt

Toppings:
  • fresh grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1-2 tbsp fresh minced basil
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce

Instructions

First, Preheat the oven to 400 ° and grease a 9 × 13 baking dish (you can also use 9 × 9 deep cooking).

Then, Combine all the ingredients for the meatballs in a large bowl and mix until everything is well incorporated.

Use a biscuit spoon to obtain the same amount of chicken mixture so that all the balls are the same size. Form meatballs and place them in the baking dish leaving a little space between them.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Add the sauce evenly on the meatballs. Bake for another 5-7 minutes.
