Easy Chicken Fried Rice
Easy and
tasty fried rice, made of brown rice and lean chicken breast, instead of white
rice and ham. A recipe on which everyone can get along! Hearty and so
satisfying. That makes excellent leftovers too.
Ingredients
Rice
- 3 cups water
- 1 lb chicken
- 1 ½ cup basmati rice, uncooked
- 2 eggs
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Tbsp butter
- green onion, to taste
- 1 tsp oil
- 2 carrots, grated
- salt and pepper, to taste
sauce
- 3 Tbsp water
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
First, In a
saucepan, combine the rice and 3 cups water. Cook at 400F for 25-30 minutes
(rice is ready when it is soft). Stir the rice, let cool.
Then,In a
pan with 1 tbsp. In oil, cook chicken until golden and cooked. Season with salt
and pepper.
Remove the
chicken from the pan. Add 1 tbsp. At the table of butter with the carrots.
Sauté over medium heat until cooked through. Remove the carrots (add to the
chicken).
Add 1 tbsp.
Butter and scramble eggs, stirring as needed.
Put the
chicken and carrots in the pan with the garlic, stir to incorporate.
Add the rice
and stir.
In a small
bowl, mix the ingredients of the sauce. Pour the sauce into the pan. Add the
green onion. Fry for another 2-3 minutes, stirring as needed.
