Cranberry Orange Cheese Ball

This ball of orange chocolate chip cheese, cranberries is a dessert so easy to use and perfect for the holidays. It's a great holiday recipe and it will be the first thing to do.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup craisins
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 Tablespoon orange juice

COATING
  • ½ cup craisins
  • 1 Tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 cup chopped candied pecans

Instructions

First, Stir in softened cream cheese until smooth.

Then, Add the craisines, orange zest, orange juice and powdered sugar until well blended.

Place the bowl in the refrigerator and let it firm for about 10 minutes or just long enough to form a ball.

Roll in a cream cheese mixture into a ball and place on a plate or tray and place in the freezer to soften for 10 minutes.

Although the cheese ball is soft, mix the ingredients of the coating on a large platter or large plate. Roll the cheese ball into the filling ingredients to coat the outside.

Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serve with crackers. Happy Cooking Time.
