Banana Bread Cookies
These banana
bread cookies are soft, moist and full of banana flavor. You can add mini
chocolate chips and nuts if you wish.
Ingredients
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1 1/4 cup crushed bananas too ripe about 4 medium bananas
Optional
supplements
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- extra 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- pinch the cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
First, Preheat
the oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Then, Add
the almond flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a bowl and mix well
Crush the
bananas with a fork and add them to the dry ingredients (I crush and measure)
Add maple
syrup
Mix until
all ingredients are uniformly incorporated
Use a
tablespoon of 1.5 tablespoons to deposit the dough on the baking sheet
Gently
flatten the biscuits with a fork or the back of a spoon.
Bake for
26-30 minutes until medium is set and not wet (mine was perfect at 28 minutes)
Once the
cookies are out of the oven, place them on a rack to let them cool.
Leave the
cookies at room temperature before eating
Store in an
airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days
