Absolutely Best Brownies Ever
I do not
exaggerate when I say it's the best brownie recipe of my life. I spend a lot of
time cooking (and eating!) And I never had another brownie like this. It's the
ultimate in rich, melting and chocolate flavor, all thanks to the magic of
burnished butter. Ordinary brownies simply can not compete with this depth of
flavor.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 cup butter melted
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup cocoa about 80g
- chocolate chips for sprinkling on top or to mix in, optional
- 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar 500g
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour or sub all-purpose (about 195g)
Instructions
First, Preheat
oven to 350 degrees F.
Then, In a
large bowl, combine butter, sugar and vanilla with a whisk until smooth.
Whisk eggs
one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in
flour, cocoa and salt until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Line a 9 x
13-inch tin with aluminum foil and spray with a nonstick spray.
Spread the
dough in the prepared pan. Bake for 26-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes
out clean.
