Ahi Tuna Tataki
tuna ahi tataki. Make a meal with vegetables and rice + you gold! it is a simple 30-second roast over ahi, rolled in sesame seeds and thinly sliced. Topped with spring onions and served with soy + sesame seeds.
INGREDIENTS
1 pound sushi grade ahi tuna
1/2 cup toasted white sesame seeds
1/2 cup black sesame seeds
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon soy
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
1/2 tablespoon rice vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
green onions for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Heat a skillet with a touch vegetable oil . Take your ahi and dry it well. Roll up in your sesame seeds in order that they are all on the edges . Place within the pan for about 25-30 seconds on all sides . Remove it immediately.
2.Let stand and meanwhile prepare your condiment by mixing soy , soy sauce, chili flakes, rice vinegar and salt and pepper.
3.Thinly slice your ahi, sprinkle with sauce and serve with extra sauce. Garnish with spring onions and serve.
