 Korean Style Beef (Bulgogi)



Delicious Korean style beef cuts perfectly with sauteed vegetables and rice, you'll find many Korean style beef (bulgogi) recipes online, numerous variations out there, some cooked on the grill et al. during a frypan , some where the meat is put out. . the marinade, partly cooked within the marinade. It all depends on your preferences.


INGREDIENT

600g / 21oz thin slices of lean beef

100g of ripe Asian pears, peeled and chopped - 2 syn

5 tablespoons soy (tamari or coconut aminos)

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sugar - 2.5 syn

40g / 1.5oz chopped onions

1 clove , puree

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

2 spring onions, chopped

sprinkle with sesame seeds (negligible syns)

spray oil


INSTRUCTIONS

1.Add the pears, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar , shallots, garlic and ginger to the blender and blend well.

2.Add beef to plate and pour over the marinade, stirring until coated.

3.Chilling for a minimum of 1 hour, overnight is that the best thanks to really absorb all the flavors.

4.Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

5.When hot, spray with oil spray.

6.Add ⅓ of meat and seasonings and fry until cooked (it is vital to try to to it in portions, otherwise the meat will simmer an excessive amount of within the pan).

7.Remove and repeat with another third then on, until all the meat is cooked, you'll put it back within the pan to heat it.
