CHINESE CHIVE FRITTATA


 CHINESE CHIVE FRITTATA



Savory Chili and garlic chive Frittata is that the perfect Chinese dish with chives and egg. Fresh chives from the garden make this garlic chive frittata even better.


INGREDIENTS

▢6 large eggs

▢⅛ teaspoon of sugar

▢1 teaspoon of Shaoxing wine

▢¼ teaspoon ground white pepper

▢¼ teaspoon vegetable oil

▢5 tablespoons of oil

▢1½ cup spring onions (chopped)

▢¼ cup of hunan chilies (or to taste - it's quite salty!)


INSTRUCTIONS

1.First, beat the eggs, sugar, Shaoxing wine, white pepper and vegetable oil during a bowl. Heat a skillet (preferably forged iron or nonstick) over medium-high heat with 5 tablespoons of oil.

2.Add chives and saute until wilted. Add the hunan peppers and distribute evenly.

3.Pour the eggs evenly over the dough. If you only want to scramble the eggs, stir them gently until they're done, being careful to not break the eggs an excessive amount of .

4.If you are making frittata, reduce the warmth to medium and let the eggs cook until they harden. When you're able to flip the frittata, slide it gently onto the plate, place the skillet on the plate, and switch everything quickly in order that the frittata flips over the pan. Continue cooking until there are not any more runny eggs and serve! it is a little tricky, but if you would like that wow factor say a prayer and choose it!
