Creamy Lemon Salmon
This Creamy Lemon Salmon recipe is quick, decadent, and makes for a simple family dinner, ready in only 20 minutes!
INGREDIENTS
1 pound fresh salmon, dig 4 pieces
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Dredge flour
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup chicken broth or dry wine
1 tablespoon of juice
1 pinch of Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 cup cream / light whipping cream
Fresh parsley to taste, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Cut your salmon into 4 pieces. Sprinkle with garlic powder and season with salt and pepper. Dip each a part of the flour on all sides.
2.Add the vegetable oil and butter to a skillet over medium-high heat. When it's hot, add the fish. Cook 3-4 minutes / side or until golden brown. take care to not overcook - the salmon isn't fully cooked. Place the salmon on a plate and put aside .
3.Add the chicken broth , juice , Italian seasonings and Dijon mustard to the pan. Stir until the mustard dissolves and simmer for a moment or two.
4.Add cream to pan with salmon. Cook a couple of more minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and therefore the fish is completed .
5.Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. Serve immediately.
