KILLER CHICKEN THIGH MARINADE
Chicken recipes are always a crowd pleaser. This chicken thigh marinade is easy to combine in minutes for a juicy chicken and tender. This marinade has incredible Asian flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 4 tbsp. Low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves (minced)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground)
- 5 tablespoons of honey (or maple syrup)
- 2 teaspoons of kosher salt (and more to taste)
- 8 skin on bone-in chicken thighs (about 4 lbs)
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice (or lime juice)
Instructions
First, combine all the ingredients for the marinade in a large bowl or Ziploc plastic bag. Add the chicken and make sure each piece is covered evenly. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours, or better yet, overnight.
Then, preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
Place the chicken and all the marinade in a baking dish. Bake uncovered at 450 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes, skin side up, until internal temperature reaches 165 ° F. To ensure chicken tops are golden brown and do not dry out, brush the chicken thighs in the juice and marinate for about 15 to 20 minutes of cooking.
To get a crisp, golden brown skin, turn on the grill for 2-3 minutes when the thighs are almost done. Watch the broiling very closely as the tops can burn if broiled for too long. Happy Cooking Time.
