Maple Glazed Squash








Maple Glazed Roasted Butternut Squash is our new favorite vegetarian side. This caramelized version of butternut squash is so delicious you'll crave it morning, noon and night.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 large butternut squash, peeled, seeds and pulp discarded, flesh cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, plus more for garnish (optional)

Instructions

First, preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

Then, in a large bowl, add all the ingredients and toss well to combine and coat.

Pour the ingredients onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread the squash so that the pieces do not touch each other.

Place in the oven and cook for 25 minutes.

Remove from oven, use tongs to carefully flip each piece of squash. Return to oven and cook for another 15 minutes.

Transfer the roasted squash to a serving dish and drizzle with maple syrup. Happy Cooking Time.
