Cheesy Hot Beef Sandwich
Lunch for eight in a hearty bread. Take it out of the oven and your gang will run!
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons Mccormick's Montreal Steak Spice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1-2 cups cheddar cheese grated
- 6 hoagie rolls
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil or any oil of your choice
- 1 1/4 cup cream of mushroom soup or 10.5 oz. can of store bought cream of mushroom soup
Instructions
First, to make beef sandwiches, first preheat 2 tablespoons of avocado oil in the pan. Then add 1 lb. of ground beef and 1 small chopped onion, and sauté for 7-10 minutes over medium-high heat. Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of Montreal steak spice.
Then add 1 chopped bell pepper and 1 minced garlic clove to the pan. Cook for 3 minutes. Then add 1 1/4 cups cream of mushroom soup (I used homemade cream of mushroom soup) and 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
Finally, turn off the heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese. Then add the beef and cheese mixture to the hoagie buns. Serve hot with a cream of mushroom soup. Happy Cooking Time.
