Slow Cooker Corned Beef Recipe
Slow cooker crispy salted beef with a crispy crust. No soggy salted beef, even in the slow cooker!
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 cups water
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3-4 pounds corned beef brisket — with the spice pack
- 2 bay leaves — small, or 1 large
- 1 onion — chopped
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice — optional
INSTRUCTIONS
First, place the onion in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the fat side of the beef up.
Then, add seasoning, garlic, bay leaves, lemon juice / apple cider vinegar (optional) and water.
Cook on high power for 7 hours or on low intensity for 9 to 10 hours.
Take the corned beef out of the slow cooker and place it on a baking sheet (fat side up). Brush or spray with a little vegetable or olive oil.
Grill the meat for 2 to 4 minutes, watching it closely and leaving the oven door open, it becomes crisp and does not burn.
Slice and serve with the desired side dish.
