BAKED FIRECRACKER CHICKEN








It's the perfect weekday dinner, quick and easy! My firecracker recipe is easy to prepare and tastes salty, sweet and spicy! Serve it on a bed of rice and with lots of firecracker sauce!

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 8 chicken thighs bone in, skin on

Firecracker sauce

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic grated/minced
  • 1-2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup sriracha
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

First, mix the ingredients for the firecracker sauce and marinate your chicken thighs in the sauce for 20-30 minutes.

Then, heat your oven to 375F.

When you're ready, add the chicken thighs to a greased baking dish and cook the chicken for 35 to 40 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to make sure the internal temperature at 165F / 75C to check if the thighs are cooked properly.

For crispier skin, place the chicken under the grill and grill for 3 minutes, keeping an eye on it as the skin can burn easily due to the sauce. Happy Cooking Time.
