Sausage and bean stew recipe
This sausage
and bean stew is hearty, comfortable and delicious, quick to prepare and
perfect for a weeknight! It's a whole meal in a bowl, not only comforting, but
that leaves your home smelling incredible!
INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 (28 oz) jar crushed tomatoes
- 2 bell peppers, chopped
- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 small zucchini, chopped
- 3 (15 oz) cans Great Northern white beans
- 2 Tbsp El Yucateco Black Label Reserve Hot Sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
First, in a
large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausages until lightly browned,
stirring frequently.
Then, combine
cooked sausage and all ingredients in a slow cooker.
Cover and
cook on high power for 4 hours or 8 hours on low intensity.
Serve with
