Iced Mocha Recipe
This drink is ideal for sipping on the porch while watching the little guy play. I even make them later in the day with leftover coffee for a quick afternoon.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cold coffee
- 1 to 2 tablespoons (12 to 25g) granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream optional
- 1/4 cup milk any percentage, divided
- 1 tablespoon (5g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- Chocolate syrup optional for topping
- Whipped cream optional for topping
Instructions
First, in a small saucepan, combine 2 tablespoons of milk, sugar and cocoa powder. Heat over medium heat, whisking constantly, until the mixture begins to simmer and is well combined and smooth.
Then, remove from heat and stir in cold coffee, the remaining 2 tablespoons of milk and the optional heavy cream.
Pour over a 16-ounce cup (or Mason jar) of ice, garnish with whipped cream and chocolate syrup if desired. Happy Cooking Time.
