CHEESY GARLIC BOMBS
Garlic
Cheese Bombs - amazing cheese bomb cookies loaded with Mozzarella cheese and
topped with herb and garlic butter. Easy recipe that takes 20 minutes.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (16-ounce) tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
- 48 fresh mozzarella pearls, drained
DIRECTIONS:
First, preheat
oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly oil a 24-cup mini muffin pan or coat with a
non-stick spray.
Then, in a
small bowl, whisk together the butter, garlic, oregano, basil and salt; put
aside.
Cut each of
the 8 cookies in half, making 16 pieces. Work one at a time, use a rolling pin
to flatten each piece to about 1/4 inch thick. Add 3 mozzarella pearls to the
center of each piece of cookie before rolling into a ball.
Place in
prepared muffin pan and brush each ball with half of the butter mixture;
sprinkle with Parmesan. Place in the oven and cook until golden brown, about
8-10 minutes.
Serve
immediately, brush with the rest of the butter mixture and garnish with
parsley, if desired. Happy Cooking Time.
