Buster Bar Ice Cream Cake
This
decadent layered ice cream dessert from Buster Bar was inspired by the famous
Buster Bar from Dairy Queen. The ultimate dessert for the summer party!
Ingredients
- 14 ounce hot fudge sauce
- 1 1/2 cups red skin peanuts
- 1 gallon vanilla ice cream
- 10 whole chocolate graham crackers
- 7.5 ounce Magic Shell chocolate coating
Instructions
First, set
the ice cream to soften. Line the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with
Graham crackers. Break several crackers in half to cover the entire bottom in a
single layer.
Then, pour
half of the ice cream over the Graham crackers. Use the scooper (or rigid
spatula) to break the ice cream into a flat layer.
Pour the
fudge over the layer of ice cream. Spread it in a thin layer on the ice. Then
sprinkle half the peanuts on the surface of the fondant.
Scoop the
remaining ice cream over the fudge and peanuts. Gently press on a smooth layer,
sealing the fudge.
Sprinkle the
remaining peanuts over the ice cream in an even layer. Then sprinkle the Magic
Shell over the peanuts to keep them in place. Place the pan in the freezer for
at least 3 hours before cutting.
