Slow Cooker Creamed Corn with Bacon
This easy
cream corn recipe is creamy and delicious that you make in your slow cooker. It
is made with leeks which give it a wonderful flavor.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced chives
- 8 ounces cream cheese cut into cubes
- 2 lbs frozen corn
- 4 tablespoons butter cut into cubes
- 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
INSTRUCTIONS
First, place
the corn, sugar and salt in a slow cooker; stir to combine.
Then, pour
the milk into the slow cooker, then arrange the pieces of butter and cream
cheese over the corn.
Cover and
cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or on LOW for 4-5 hours.
Remove the
lid and stir the corn mixture until it mixes into a creamy sauce.
Keep stirring
until it is smooth!
Add the
pepper.
Top the corn
with bacon and chive cream and serve.
