CHICKEN POT BISCUIT CASSEROLE
It's like a
casserole chicken pie with cookie dough. Pieces of cookie swell in a delicious
creamy vegetable sauce, creating a fairly quick and tasty pan!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 small jar chopped pimiento
- 8 frozen biscuits
- 4 cups Rotisserie chicken, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup mild cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
Instructions
First, take
the cookies out of the freezer and let them thaw while you prepare the rest of
the ingredients.
Then, spray
an 11x7 baking dish with cooking spray.
Preheat the
oven to 350 degrees.
Heat the
butter in a pan and sauté the onions until tender.
Combine
chicken, soup, sour cream, milk, chilli and onions and spoon in prepared baking
dish.
Bake for 15
minutes.
Sprinkle the
grated cheese and garnish with cookies.
Bake for
about 20 minutes until the bubbles and cookies are golden.
