Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken
This cooked
chicken parmesan is crisp golden brown chicken breasts topped with marinara
sauce and melted cheese. A lighter version of the classic chicken parmesan that
tastes like something you will get in a restaurant!
Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 3/4 cup Panko crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/3 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- cooking spray
- chopped parsley, optional
Instructions
First, grease
a 9 x 13 inch pan and preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Then, in a
shallow bowl, combine mayonnaise, seasoned salt, paprika and garlic powder.
In a pie
plate, combine the Parmesan and Panko breadcrumbs.
Coat each
chicken breast with mayonnaise mixture, then squeeze both sides into the
parmesan mixture.
Place the
chicken in the prepared pan.
Lightly
spray the top of the chicken with cooking spray (will help it brown).
Place in the
preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
