and irresistible. These Teriyaki chicken wings are so good that you can't stop
at just one.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 TBS paprika
- 1 TBS cornstarch
- 1 cup flour
- vegetable oil for deep frying
- 2 TBS lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 cups teriyaki sauce I use Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki
- 3 lbs wingettes and drummettes
INSTRUCTIONS
First, in a
large bowl or plastic bag, add the flour and paprika. Then, mix the wings with
wings of flour until the wings are coated.
Then, in a
deep skillet, add enough vegetable oil until it reaches about 2 inches deep.
Heat the oil to 350 degrees. Fry the wings in batches a few at a time on both
sides until golden or until the juice is clear. Drain the wings on paper
towels.
In a
saucepan over medium heat, add the teriyaki sauce and stir in the cornstarch.
Let the sauce cook for a few moments so that it thickens. Once thickened, mix
the wings in the sauce and sprinkle with lemon pepper, serve. Happy Cooking
Time.
