EASY BROWNIE PIE
This
chocolate chocolate pie recipe is one that you will come back to again and
again. Crispy chocolate pie crust with a melting brownie center. Try it still
hot with a scoop of ice cream.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 ready made refrigerated pie crust
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate , coarsely chopped
- dash of salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
First, place
the pie crust in a pie pan and set aside.
Then, in a
medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add chocolate, stirring until
completely melted.
Remove from
heat and stir in sugar. Add the flour, eggs, vanilla and salt. making sure all
the ingredients are well mixed. Add the chocolate chips.
Spread the
mixture in the pie crust. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes,
until the top has a crust and the sides are firm. Remove from oven and let cool
completely.
