Slow Cooker Cabbage Roll Soup
Slow Cooker
Cabbage Roll Soup has all the flavors of cabbage rolls, no fuss or effort! A
hearty dish with lots of flavor and easy to cook in the slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cups cabbage, chopped
- 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup green beans, cut in half
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 156ml can tomato paste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup minute rice, uncooked
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 796ml can diced tomatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 900ml broth {vegetable, beef or chicken)
Instructions
First, cook
ground beef until cooked and place in slow cooker.
Then, place
in all the vegetables and garnish with broth, diced tomatoes and tomato paste.
Add the
spices, cover and cook on high power for 4 hours, or on low intensity for 7 to
8 hours
In the last
15-20 minutes, add the rice and it cooks alone. Check after 10 minutes, then
every few minutes to cook the rice.
