PISTACHIO FUDGE
This rich,
creamy pistachio fudge is perfect for your special dessert table and is a great
homemade gift idea for the holidays. This nut fudge recipe only takes a few
minutes to prepare and sets each time.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup water
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup shelled Pistachios
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 6 Tablespoons butter
- 1 package (4 serving size) instant Pistachio Pudding Mix
INSTRUCTIONS
First, line
an 8x8 square pan with aluminum foil. Put aside.
Then, in a
large microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips, butter and water in the
microwave on high power for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and stir until
chocolate chips are completely melted. If necessary, heat for an additional 30
seconds.
Stir the dry
pudding mixture into the chocolate mixture. Once completely mixed, stir in
sugar, one cup at a time. Fold the shelled pistachios.
Press the
fudge into the prepared pan. Refrigerate 2 hours to harden.
Remove the
fondant from the mold and remove the aluminum foil. Use a sharp knife to cut
squares cleanly. keep in a tightly closed case.
