This Philly
Cheesesteak pan brings all the flavors of the beloved sandwich into an
easy-to-prepare casserole dish!
Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 yellow onion
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 4 slices Provolone cheese
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 bell peppers
- 1 clove garlic
Instructions
First, preheat
the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x9 baking dish with a non-stick spray.
Then, cut
the peppers and onions into small pieces. Mince the garlic.
Add the ground
beef to a pan and cook over medium heat, crumbling while cooking.
When the
beef is broken but still pink, add the peppers, onion, garlic and seasoned
salt. Continue cooking, stirring often, until the beef is cooked through and
the vegetables are slightly softened.
Drain the
fat from the pan and pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Tear the
cheese into small pieces and place it over the beef mixture.
Add eggs,
cream, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce to a mixing bowl and mix well.
Pour the egg
mixture over the beef and place the dish in the oven. Bake for 35 minutes or
until the eggs are set.
Let stand 5
minutes before slicing and serving.
Happy
Cooking Time.
