CREAM CHEESE BANANA BREAD

INGREDIENTS

For bread:
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 mashed ripe bananas
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil (or coconut oil)
  • Pinch of salt

For Cream Cheese mixture:
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 4 ounce cream cheese, softened

INSTRUCTIONS

First, Preheat the oven to 350 ° F. Spray an 8.5 x 4.5 x 3-inch baking pan with floured cooking spray, or grease and flour the pan, set aside.

Then, In large bowl, add egg, brown sugar, vegetable oil, sour cream, vanilla and whisk. Add the banana puree and mix

Add 1 cup all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, a pinch of salt and gently mix with a spoon until everything is well mixed

Spread half of the banana dough in the bread pan with a spatula

In a separate bowl, combine the ingredients of the cream cheese and spread on top. Garnish with the rest of the banana paste and smooth very lightly with a spatula so as not to disturb the layer of cream cheese and push the dough into the corners and sides, if necessary.
