Almond Flour Brownies
Sweet,
decadent and ultra-mellow, these almond flour brownies are deliciously
delicious. Made with only a few simple ingredients, you'll never believe that
these brownies are gluten-free or cereal-free!
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1/3 cup almond flour
- 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 12 tablespoons unsalted butter (1 1/2 sticks) melted
- 1 cup unsweetened natural cocoa powder
Instructions
First, Preheat
the oven to 350 ° C and prepare an 8-inch square baking pan lined with
parchment paper or foil.
Then, In a
small bowl, mix the flour and cocoa until a homogeneous mixture is obtained,
then set aside.
In a large
bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, salt and vanilla and whisk.
The mixture
will be granular but uniform. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking carefully
after each addition.
Set aside
the whisk and add the flour / cocoa mixture to the large bowl. Stir with a
large spoon or spatula until all is well mixed, scraping the sides of the bowl
as needed.
Scrape the
dough into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or
until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out with wet crumbs but no
liquid paste. Place the pan on a rack to cool for 15 minutes, then use the
liner of the pan to lift the brownies. Place the brownies on a rack to finish
cooling.
