BAKED TERIYAKI CHICKEN
This recipe
gives the teriyaki chicken to the oven! Tender and juicy chicken breasts cooked
in the most amazing and easy homemade teriyaki sauce with simple ingredients.
The only baked teriyaki chicken recipe you'll ever need!
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 teaspoons minced garlic
- 4 Tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 Tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Sesame seeds, optional
INSTRUCTIONS
First, Preheat
oven to 425 degrees F.
Then, Spray
a baking dish into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and place the chicken breasts in
the dish.
In a
saucepan over medium heat, combine garlic, soy sauce, water, vinegar, brown
sugar and cornstarch for a few minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
Brush the
chicken with the sauce. Turn the pieces over and brush again.
Bake for 30
minutes. Remove from oven, turn chicken over and cook another 20-30 minutes or
until chicken is no longer pink.
Serve on
rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
