Raisin Bread Pudding




Raisin Bread Pudding








This best bread pudding is so easy to make. Just dip the bread cubes with eggs, sugar and milk, then bake. Add raisins and bourbon soaked spices to make it even more special.

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • Salt dash
  • 2/3 cup 2% milk
  • 1 tablespoon of melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1 cup cubed cinnamon raisin bread
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

First, preheat the oven to 350 °. Place bread cubes in a greased 2-cup baking dish. In a small bowl, whisk the egg, milk, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt until blended. Stir in the raisins. Pour over the bread; let stand 15 minutes or until bread is softened.

Then, bake in oven until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Serve hot.
