CRESCENT ROLL CHICKEN
Crescent
Rolls Chicken uses cooked chicken, ranch dressing mix, cream cheese and cheddar
and rolled in butter croissant rolls - an awesome weekday dinner that leaves
leftover lunchboxes perfect!
Ingredients
- 2 - 3 c shredded cooked chicken
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 pkg Italian dressing mix (or 3 TB)
- 8 oz pkg cream cheese softened
- 2 8 oz cans Pillsbury crescent roll dough
- 2 - 3 green onions chopped - optional
Instructions
First, preheat
the oven to 375.
Then, add
the cream cheese and two cans of soup to a medium saucepan and turn over medium
heat.
Add the
dressing mixture and stir until well combined. Lower over low heat.
Pour most of
the mixture into a large bowl, leaving enough in the pan to use as a sauce for
putting the chicken pieces.
Add the
chicken and green onions to the large bowl and mix. Put aside.
Separate the
croissant dough and place the individual triangles on a cookie sheet.
Pour a
spoonful of chicken mixture over the crescent bread dough and roll (we fold the
left side, the right side, then roll towards the long point).
Bake for 9
to 12 minutes.
Serve hot
and garnish with remaining sauce if desired.
