KETO BREADSTICKS
Sweet and
delicious keto breadsticks that are super easy to make! Ideal as an aperitif or
accompaniment with low carbohydrate content.

DOUGH
- 1 large egg
- 1 oz cream cheese
- 3 tbsp coconut flour
- 1 1/2 cups part skim low moisture shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup almond flour
TOPPINGS
- 1 tsp finely chopped parsley
- 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup part skim low moisture shredded mozzarella cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
First, preheat
the oven to 425 ° F.
Then, add
the mozzarella and cream cheese to a large microwave-safe bowl. Melt in the
microwave at full power in 30-second intervals. After every 30 seconds, stir
the cheese until it is completely melted and uniform (see photo above). This
should take approximately 1-1 1/2 minutes in total. Do not try to microwave
full time at a time as some of the cheese will overcook. You can also melt the
cheese on the stove in a double boiler.
Add a cheese
ball in a food processor with a dough blade accessory. Add the almond flour,
coconut flour and egg. Pulse at high speed until the dough is uniform. The
dough will be quite sticky, which is normal.
Let the
dough cool slightly, which will make it less sticky and easier to work with.
Roll the dough between two sheets of parchment paper up to 1/4 inch thick. Peel
off the top sheet of parchment paper from the dough. Place the dough (still on
the lower parchment paper) on a baking sheet.
Spread 1/4
cup mozzarella cheese over the dough, leaving a 1/2 inch perimeter. Bake for
about 5-6 minutes, or until the edges of the dough are golden and puffy.
Sprinkle the
dough surface evenly with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese,
leaving a 1/2 inch perimeter. Bake 3 to 5 minutes longer or until cheese is
melted. Garnish with parsley before serving.
