The Best Guacamole Recipe







Really the best guacamole recipe! It's quick and easy to prepare, naturally gluten-free and vegan, and always a party success.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped white onion or red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin optional
  • 2 large ripe avocados
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice plus more to taste
  • 1/2 jalapeno or serrano chile, seeds and ribs removed and finely chopped
  • 1 Roma tomato seeds removed and chopped, optional

Instructions

First, cut the avocados into quarters, then remove the pits and peel. Place the avocado flesh in a large bowl.

Then, mash the avocados with a fork to the desired consistency.

Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl. Stir to combine. Taste and adjust the ingredients as needed.

The guacamole tastes best fresh, so refrigerate about 20 minutes before serving. This time also allows the flavors to blend. Serve with tortilla chips, fresh vegetables, etc. Happy Cooking Time.
