Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding
Rich, sticky
and luxurious! Treat yourself to this fluffy and chocolaty chocolate pudding,
you deserve it! Do not worry, it's gluten free!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 1/4 cups boiling water
- 1/4 cup sifted cocoa powder, extra
- 1 cup self raising flour, sifted
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, sifted
- 75g Western Star Chef's Choice Premium Cultured Unsalted Butter, melted and cooled
- Icing sugar, for dusting
- Thick cream or ice cream, for serving
METHOD:
First, Mix
the flour, cocoa and 1/3 cup of brown sugar in a bowl
Then, Combine
milk, egg and butter and add to dry ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon until
thick and smooth. Pour the mixture into a buttered microwave dish with a
capacity of 1.5 L
Combine the
rest of the brown sugar and cocoa and sprinkle evenly over the cake mix. Pour
boiling water evenly over the brown sugar mixture
Bake at 500w
/ 50% capacity for 13 minutes. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes before
sprinkling with icing sugar and serve with cream or ice cream.
